The See IT in Action 2012 conference will be an interactive one day event to promote innovative ways to transform public service delivery through the use of ICT. It will focus on the tangible benefits that can be derived from the creative application of existing consumer and commercial products and internet services.
This event will showcase the latest tried-and-tested solutions, developed and implemented by local authorities and their partners, across the UK.

WORKSHOP SESSION 1 Delegates will be able to choose from one of several specialist workshops, providing an in-depth opportunity to share ideas, debate best practice and explore practical solutions. There are limited spaces for the workshops, which will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Masterclass 1: Paying for Care, Capita & Nottinghamshire County Council Paying for Care and Nottinghamshire County Council would like to share the exciting work that is being done in Nottinghamshire and across English and Welsh Local Authorities to manage risk of self funders and reduce the estimated £1billion pressure. Masterclass 2: Rotherham NHS The workshop will showcase The Talkingsense.org e-clinic, which offers access to mental health support and treatment through online NHS therapy clinics. Masterclass 3: Digital Outreach Ian Agnew, Chief Executive, Digital Outreach will explain the outreach business model, using case studies from the campaign and demonstrate how the original message can now be taken forward through new technology to help people see how it can benefit them to be online. He will also explain how the model can easily be adapted to be used to communicate many different behaviour change messages. |
